SERVING FAMILIES AFFECTED BY ASBESTOS
Michael “Mickey” Robb
Partner
Michael “Mickey” Robb is based in Pittsburgh and is currently licensed in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. He has over 20 years of experience handling asbestos litigation cases on behalf of men and women who have contracted asbestos-related diseases including Mesothelioma, Lung Cancer, Esophageal Cancer and Asbestosis. Michael has secured more than $90 million in court awards for his clients.
Since asbestos-related cancers take several decades to develop after a person inhales asbestos fibers, Michael prides himself on being able to investigate the client’s entire exposure history to determine where the client’s exposures to asbestos occurred. Most individuals are exposed to asbestos in an industrial setting like a steel mill, chemical plant, power plant, or factory. However, exposure to asbestos can occur in any setting including industrial, residential and school buildings.
With a very unique talent for knowing what types of products contain asbestos and an extensive understanding of how exposures occur at work, home, or even at school (K-12 and university buildings) Michael will then file suit against all responsible parties including the client’s employers that used asbestos containing products in the workplace as well as the manufacturer, supplier, or producer of asbestos containing equipment that the employer utilized in their operations.
Michael will also file suit against any responsible companies who sold asbestos-containing products which the client may have been exposed to in the home. Finally, Michael will do an extensive search to determine if the client attended any schools which were contaminated with asbestos building products and will file suit against the school district or university where the exposures occurred.
In March of 2020, the Wall Street Journal reported on one of Michael’s cases where he represents a retired college professor who contracted mesothelioma after being exposed to asbestos-contaminated buildings at the Pennsylvania State University in State College, Pennsylvania.
Michael’s extensive investigation into Pennsylvania State University has shown that not only were the buildings his client worked in contaminated with asbestos but so are hundreds of other buildings on the university’s main campus and satellite branch campuses located throughout Pennsylvania.
Asbestos cases are very complicated and Michael has an incredible drive and passion to bring justice on behalf of his clients and their families. If you or a family member have been diagnosed with Mesothelioma, Lung Cancer, Esophageal Cancer and Asbestosis call Michael today for a free consultation.
Michael is also a successful inventor and has been granted multiple United States Patents and Trademarks. Michael appeared on NBC’s hit TV show Shark Tank in 2016. Following his television appearance, Michael’s invention was sold all around the world and has been featured in almost every major news outlet including CNBC, NBC, USA Today, YAHOO, and Forbes Magazine.

Travis brings a blue-collar work ethic to his law practice, as he understands the value – and necessity – of a hard day’s work. This work ethic, and a passion for helping people who have been injured through no fault of their own, are what motivate Travis to seek the best results for his clients.
Named in 2021 as one of Best Lawyers’ Ones to Watch and a Super Lawyers Rising Star, Travis has successfully taken cases to verdict and on appeal in West Virginia and his approach to litigation is greatly informed by his experiences at trial, allowing him to effectively evaluate early settlements, navigate complex litigation, and represent clients at trial – experiences that cover the full range of possibilities for your case.

Travis is motivated by a desire to provide families with answers to questions about why an incident occurred and a resolute belief that there is no justice without accountability. He has dedicated his career to holding accountable those responsible for causing harm so justice can be served, and families can find closure.
In November 2021, Travis helped secure a West Virginia Supreme Court ruling that reversed and remanded a lower court motion to dismiss medical negligence claims regarding a mentally ill patient that died by suicide, an effort that clarified and cemented the rights of mental health patients in West Virginia. A staunch protector of the rights guaranteed by the United States Constitution, he is known for his work seeking to hold police officers and municipalities accountable when they violate these sacred rights.
Travis’ clients know he is one of them. He’s hiked their hills, fished their streams, and played their favorite bluegrass on his banjo. A son of southern West Virginia, he routinely brings to bear his life lessons and experiences from his time in Appalachia to his personal injury law practice.
In addition to being a Bailey Glasser partner, Travis is an avid fly fisherman and a proud volunteer with Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc., an organization dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled active military service personnel and disabled veterans through fly fishing and associated activities.

Christina L. Hutchins
Attorney
Christina is a successful advocate for injured persons who employs a combination of courtroom skills, positive client rapport, and a passion for justice – winning traits that have regularly propelled her onto the National Trial Lawyers’ “Top 40 Under 40” list in recent years.
She has significant experience representing individuals whose health has been negatively affected by exposure to asbestos, a known carcinogen. Additionally, Ms. Hutchins has represented an untold number of individuals injured by dangerous prescriptions drugs and faulty medical devices.
Asbestos exposure is the largest cause of occupational cancers in the country, and a significant cause of other diseases and disabilities. Workers exposed to asbestos include teachers, auto mechanics, military personnel, pipefitters, railroad employees, and many others.
Christina adopts a “Take No Mercy” approach to ensuring every responsible party is held liable for causing illness and injury to her clients. She fights diligently to bring justice to victims of direct, household, and bystander asbestos exposure and their families – and will file suit against any responsible companies who sold asbestos-containing products to which her clients may have been exposed, including employers, schools, manufacturers, suppliers, and/or producers of asbestos-containing materials.
Christina believes the most rewarding aspect of being a lawyer is representing clients faced with challenging problems and being able to assuage their concerns as they seek justice together. She credits her ability to listen intently and understand the totality of her clients’ unique situations to her litigation success.
In her career to date, Christina has secured multimillions of dollars for her clients by achieving the highest possible settlements.
The most common asbestos-related diseases include:
- Mesothelioma of the Lung
- Mesothelioma of the Stomach
- Testicular Mesothelioma
- Lung Cancer
- Asbestosis
- Pleural Plaques
Asbestos-related disease can develop in other parts of the body as well. Research has confirmed that asbestos is known to cause the following cancers, and this list is not exhaustive:
- Colon Cancer
- Esophageal Cancer
- Laryngeal Cancer
- Stomach Cancer
- Throat Cancer
Cancer caused by exposure to asbestos takes from 20-40 years to develop after someone is exposed. The long delay between exposure and the development of the cancer – known as the latency period – means most victims are unaware their cancer may have been caused by asbestos exposure decades ago.
When she is not successfully representing Bailey Glasser clients, Christina and her fiancée race Can-Am UTVs in the National Rock Racing Association.
Christina is based in St. Louis and licensed in Missouri and Illinois.
